ALERT! QUILTS STOLEN Karen Combs was here on March 16th and 17th, conducting a workshop and presenting a wonderful lecture for the Guild. Sometime Friday night, March 16th, someone broke into her car at her hotel and stole her suitcase containing her teaching supplies and sample quilts. It's a shame that this had to happen during her visit to New Braunfels. The Guild is busy preparing for our 2012 Quilt Show to be held July 27th - 29th. It will be a judged show and our members are stitching on their entries in hopes of winning a beautiful ribbon. Non-guild members are also welcome to enter their quilts. There will be classes, lectures, quilt appraisals, a silent auction, an emporium, vendors, food, and fun for all!
