Beautiful House Warming Gifts for New Homes!

 

The Guild participates with the Comal County Habitat for Humanity by providing a quilt made by members’ loving hands to families when their new home is dedicated.   

  Guild members donate blocks, sew, bind, and quilt the quilt.  A label is attached showing who made the quilt and for whom.  

  According to Tom Troll, Executive Director of the Comal County Habitat for Humanity, “The quilt is the most intimate gift the family receives and truly conveys the love we have for one another."

Another beautiful quilt that Guild members will present to a family of New Braunfels during their house blessing in 2011.   

  Home is where the heart is.  The look in a family’s eyes when they see the quilt puts a smile on everyone’s face and makes our heart sing.
