The members of the Clare Peterson Memorial Scholarship project, have made and are raffling off a beautiful quilt, "Batik Pizazz". The money raised by the raffle will provide scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors. The project's goal is to be able to award scholarships of $1,500 each to three deserving young people. The drawing for the quilt will be held 21 Nov 2009 at our monthly guild meeting. Tickets are $5 each, and only 300 tickets were printed, so, your chance for winning is pretty good! For more information, or if you would like to donate to this fund or purchase a raffle ticket, please email Glenna McKandles at gmckandles@hughes.net |
