Providing Scholarships for Deserving Graduates

"Batik Pizazz", The Clare Peterson Memorial Scholarship Fund Donation Quilt

Project volunteers are Sandy Towey, Glenna McKandles, Norma Herman, Gloria Villalobos, and Judith White

The members of the Clare Peterson Memorial Scholarship project, have made and are raffling off a beautiful quilt, "Batik Pizazz".  The money raised by the raffle will provide scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors.  The project's goal  is to be able to award scholarships of $1,500 each to three deserving young people.  The drawing for the quilt will be held 21 Nov 2009 at our monthly guild meeting.  Tickets are $5 each, and only 300 tickets were printed, so, your chance for winning is pretty good!  For more information, or if you would like to donate to this fund or purchase a raffle ticket, please email Glenna McKandles at gmckandles@hughes.net
